After a professor retires they bring home all their files and books from many years and they often just stack the boxes in a room and close the door. Afraid to start, afraid they will throw away something that they will need. BUT they want a guest room for friends and family. We can HELP. We carefully went through every file and every book. Keeping only the most important papers and books. Donating books to libraries all over the world and even setting up a file for information for the book they will write. The desk is cleared and cleaned the files are organized the one bookcase is ready. After space is cleared out, painters are called. New curtains and linens for the bed complete the room.

Because we are great at organizing and cleaning, we were able to get this job finished. We are very careful to ask all the right questions, like how many water bottles do you need to keep. We keep 12 and donate the rest. We know how to use donations to help others. We find out the details of how many of each “thing” they need for their sport. We find out the priorities of which “things” are used the most and together. We organized all their supplies and labeled them. Cleaned out the garage: took everything out, knocked down cobwebs and hosed down the floor of the garage. Set up nice shelves and organized all the athletic supplies in an organized way, complete with labels to help keep it in good order.
Then drove the cars into garage.

As we sort, only touch them once…store/donate/repair/clean and put away. Sort into bins and start washing. We are able to remove everything from the laundry room. Sort and clean all clothing. Organize and put away. Sorting in labeled bins what we do not need for this school year. Upon request, make a list of what clothes each child owns and then it is easy to know what to order for school without wasting time and money.Encourage every family member to be responsible to put their dirty clothes in the laundry room every Wednesday night. Making Thursday the new laundry day, or whatever the client decides will work for their family to maintain the laundry room.
